Team ITC02 Wins First Place at 8th Cambodia Robocon 2021

PHNOM PENH: The ITC02 team from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia won first place in at the 8th Cambodia Robocon 2021, and will be representing Cambodia at the International Robocon competition.

The two runners up were the ITC01 team, also from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, and the PPI01 team from Preah Kossomak Polytechnic Institute.

A total of 11 teams from six universities and technical institutes participated in the Cambodia Robocon 2021. The event is aimed at developing the intellectual skills of engineering and automation students in Cambodia, as well as to promote the industrial and automation sectors.

The even was organized at the Royal University of Phnom Penh on Sunday afternoon by the National Television of Cambodia (TVK), and was presided over by the Minister of Information, Khieu Kanharith, and his wife.

Cambodia is set to host the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest in August 2023, where more than 20 countries are expected to participate.
